Terms of Use
Informational service
SurreyHappyHour helps visitors compare restaurant menu items, prices, and happy-hour schedules. The service is provided for general information and convenience only. It is not a restaurant, ordering service, reservation service, or representative of any listed business.
Accuracy and availability
Restaurant information can change without notice and may be incomplete, delayed, or incorrect. Displayed prices may exclude taxes, tips, service charges, delivery fees, substitutions, or location-specific differences. A deal shown as available may be changed, withdrawn, sold out, or subject to conditions imposed by the restaurant. Always confirm the current menu, price, ingredients, and hours directly with the restaurant before ordering or travelling.
Food and dietary decisions
Menu names and descriptions are not allergy, nutrition, dietary, medical, or safety advice. Contact the restaurant about ingredients, allergens, preparation methods, and cross-contamination. You are responsible for deciding whether a food or drink is suitable for you.
Third-party businesses and links
Restaurant names, menus, trademarks, websites, and map links belong to their respective owners. A listing does not imply sponsorship, endorsement, or partnership. Third-party sites and services operate under their own terms and privacy practices, and SurreyHappyHour is not responsible for their content, availability, transactions, or conduct.
Acceptable use
You may use the service for lawful, personal purposes. Do not interfere with the site, attempt unauthorized access, submit harmful or misleading material, overwhelm the service with automated requests, or use the service in a way that violates another person's rights.
Restaurant suggestions
When submitting a restaurant suggestion, provide information you reasonably believe is accurate and lawful. Do not include confidential or sensitive personal information. You allow SurreyHappyHour to review, edit, verify, store, and use the submitted restaurant information to operate and improve the service. Suggestions may be rejected or removed.
Service changes
The service, its features, and its content may be changed, suspended, or discontinued at any time. Access may be restricted when reasonably necessary for security, maintenance, legal compliance, or abuse prevention.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" and "as available," without guarantees of accuracy, completeness, reliability, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose. SurreyHappyHour and its operator are not liable for losses arising from reliance on a listing, a restaurant's products or conduct, third-party services, interrupted access, or unauthorized access beyond reasonable control. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the applicable laws of Canada, without limiting any mandatory rights you may have under applicable law.
Privacy Policy
Information collected
Public visitors do not need an account. The service may process search terms and standard technical records such as an IP address, browser or device information, requested pages, referring page, and request date and time. Search terms included in a page address may appear in server logs. If you submit a restaurant suggestion, the submitted restaurant name, website or Google Maps link, cuisine, and notes are stored. A keyed, one-way hash of the submitting IP address is stored to enforce submission limits; the raw address is not stored with the suggestion by that feature.
How information is used
Information is used to provide search results, review restaurant suggestions, secure and troubleshoot the service, prevent abuse, and understand basic service operation. SurreyHappyHour does not currently use public visitor accounts, behavioural advertising, or third-party analytics, and does not sell personal information.
Cookies
The public search experience does not currently use advertising or analytics cookies. Essential session cookies may be used in restricted administrative areas that are not intended for public visitors.
Service providers and legal disclosures
Information may be processed by infrastructure and hosting providers used to operate the service. It may also be disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to lawful process, protect the service or its users, or investigate misuse.
Processing outside Canada
The service is currently hosted in the United States. Information processed there may be subject to the laws and lawful access requirements of that jurisdiction.
Retention and security
Information is retained only for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described above, including review, security, recordkeeping, and legal obligations. Reasonable safeguards are used, but no internet service or storage system can guarantee complete security.
Your choices and requests
Do not include personal or sensitive information in restaurant suggestions. You may ask about, correct, or request deletion of personal information associated with you, subject to applicable legal exceptions. During this limited preview, direct privacy questions or requests to the person who provided you access to the service.
Changes to this page
These terms and privacy practices may be updated as the service changes. The effective date above will be revised when material changes are published. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
